5 Years & Counting

Last night Andy & I celebrated our anniversary.  I can hardly believe it has been five years since we've gotten married (and nine years together...wow!).  We have learned so much about marriage as well as ourselves and each other these past fives years.  We've been through our ups and downs...and I can't imagine going through it all with any one else!

 
This anniversary was special to us for many reasons...but it was made even more special by some loving friends!  We made plans to go out to eat at Vashelle's, the new Italian restaurant in town.   Upon arrival...the waitress informed us that there was a special table set up for us....and on that table was a message ("Happy Anniversary Andy & Stacy  - from your friends") AND these beautiful roses.

How nice is that?  We were totally blown away.  And THEN....the waitress informed us that our friends were taking care of us tonight and we would be receiving a complimentary appetizer, 2 entrees and dessert.  We could not believe it!  Who did this?!?  The waitress wouldn't tell us.  She simply said 'well when you are good to your friends ...you will have good friends.'  We don't know who did this...but what we do know is God has blessed us in so many ways especially with incredible friends!  We are so thankful!  Oh...and we learned that it feels absolutely incredible to be on the receiving end of a 'random act of kindness.'  We spent half of the night talking about random acts of kindness we could / would love to do!
