We had family come to visit us for Alaina's 3rd Birthday. It was so nice to have so much family here to help us celebrate and to catch up!
We celebrated Alaina's 3rd Birthday with a BEAUTIFUL cake made by a dear friend! This cake was seriously amazing and something Alaina will never forget! Thanks Vicki for making Alaina's day SO special! AND with AMAZING family and friends! Thank you all for making the trip and making the party SO much fun for us all! It was so good to see you!
Landon turned 7 months and gave us a run for our money, yet again! You would never guess it, but the night before I took this picture he was up all night with a nasty stomach flu...aspirated some of it and had to get treated for near pneumonia. Andy & I then got the worst flu of our lives a few days later!
Mia came for a visit (unfortunately shorter than planned) due to a high fever which resulted in an ER visit. What a tough lil cookie! =)
Alaina & Landon have become the best of buds! Here's to hoping they will always be close ;-).
Grandma & Grandpa Chuck came to visit!
My team won the pumpkin decorating contest at work...it is the hamburger one in the middle! Isn't it cute?!?
AND we went trick or treating! The kids had SO much fun trick or treating...and we had even more fun watching the pure excitement and fun they were having!
Landon's top two teeth were working on coming in the last few weeks of October; they both have pretty much broken through the skin and now will work their way out. He has had a tough time with them. He got his flu booster and has started getting into everything! He can sit up by himself, pull himself up (on his knees) and has started trying to climb the stairs. He puts EVERYTHING in his mouth and has started talking a lot more! He did have a small ear infection this month but it cleared up quickly and easily. He laughs frequently and easily (especially at Alaina). The army crawl is still his main form of traveling but has started actually crawling a little. October was a crazy month...hard but fun...for us. Hopefully, I can get back on track with my blogging in November (so I can use the documentation to update baby books at a later date! :P).
XoXo
